New iMac hasn't 10GBE option.

Since 10GBE is more affordable, why apple doesn't include 10GBE option.
When iMac Pro have and even new mighty Mac mini have.

The Mac Mini has it because one of the uses for them is in a data center where 10GbE is often found.

And I am guessing it is one of the differentiation marks between the iMac and iMac Pro.

If you need 10GbE on a TB3 iMac or MBP, you can add it via an external TB3 adapter. I am aware of models from Sonnet and AKiTi and I expect there are others.

that means internals changes, even smaller one...and since the new imac is keeping the same I/O..

Yes, I think fokmik is right. For this update they wanted to change the processor and graphics and that's it. Nothing else has changed internally.

It's a desktop with four 10Gbps USB ports, two of which support 40Gbps Thunderbolt. Plug in an adapter and forget about it behind your computer. An adapter will probably cost less than the $99 charge on the Mini anyway.

I agree that with a minimal change for this then not something apple interested in. I would suspect that possibly add as option when do a real new iMac as opposed to spec bump. They didn’t even introduce the T2 chip with this iMac so really was minimal change.

Lack of PCIe lanes. Xeon has twice the amount, hence why the iMac Pro have 10Gb ethernet.

This is not „a new iMac“! It’s just a spec bump of the old iMac so don’t expect any functional improvements....
