New iMac i7 Raw Rendering Speeds

Hi,

Just wanted to see if any other photographers have picked up one of the new i7 iMacs and can report on and notable improvement in RAW rendering speeds in either Lightroom or Aperture.

I am about to pick mine up and just thought I'd see if there was any feedback.

Improvement in batch export speeds would also be very good to know about.

Improvement compared to what? They're faster than the previous model so yeah sure, you'll see an improvement

I had 5 gigs worth of .nef raw images I needed to process from a recent trip to the Memphis Zoo. It processed 7+ adjustments to over 65 12meg+ images in under 90 seconds.

By comparison, my old 24" C2D would have taken 5-6 min to do the same thing.
