New iMac LED backlight display?

I am pretty happy with the updated iMac,but I was waiting to see if the display would be upgraded to led backlight.
Didn't Apple say that this year all of their displays would be led backlit!!
So,when can we expect for them to be updated.
Power consumption is a factor for me,I live in a house (in Indonesia) with a lot of rooms rented out,mains is only 10 Amps (2200 Watts)and we have occasional power cuts due to overload,especially around diner time.
Anyone knows how much the difference in Watts it would be in between a conventional (Old) 24" display and a led display.
If the diffence isn't that much I will buy now.
But I guess its probably about 80 Watts less,or am I wrong.
Anyone?

uh..do you mean a backlit KEYBOARD? o.o cuz displays arent backlit as far as i know..
i dont exactly know the watt difference but i do know that led displays are more power efficient and are brighter as well

All LCD panels have Backlight,without backlight you see very little.
If the backlight is broken you are still able to see Your desktop but you have to look at your display at a certain angel and very nearby.
Look through a slide at a black object or light object,thats about the difference.

So,80 Watts less,guess not and I am not so positive now about the quality.
