Hi, I've just got myself a 2012 iMac - yummy.

I've set it up as a new mac.

But some of the folders on my Network Drive now show a red dot in the corner of the folder and I don't have permission to access them! I am the administrator and it says I have permission to read and write!
Annoying! Please help

Hi and thanks for the reply.

I can read and write to the root directory. But any deeper then the root I can only view files.

----------

its actually a Lacie d2 3TB connected via esata too my Lacie 5big network2 NAS.
The files on the 5big seem fine, I only use that drive for itunes. But the d2 3TB is the drive causeing all the problems.
I've just navigated around the drive, some folders are fine, but other are locked.

Hmmmm - issue might be with my NAS, because when I plugged the d2 3TB into my Time Capusual via USB all the files where unlocked! *scratch head*
