I will be getting a new all fusion drive iMac next Monday and I will be keeping my old iMac as a spare next to the new one. Now what I want to know is when setting up the new iMac can I keep my administrator password that I used with my old one? I would like to keep the same password so that I can update both computers when need be. I also want to keep the same apple ID to update my iPads when new updates become available. Any problems that you can foresee ?
thanks for a reply 

I have a similar set up, an early 2006 20" iMac and a late 2012 21.5" iMac. I have the same admin password in them with no problem

Thanks for the reply Allen. I figured it should work okay, but like they say, always get a second opinion....
