New imac or old mac pro

I have a mac mini, but want to upgrade to another apple. My main purpose for a new apple is, PRO TOOLS 8 LE, LOGIC PRO 8, and eventually FINAL CUT EXPRESS.

Due to money shortage and family, I can't spend much.
I am looking at the new $1199 Imac with the ati radeon hd 4670 graphic card or an used mac pro intel xeon 2.66(dual) with a 7300 gt video card.

I am not a professional musician or editor. Just a hobbyist.
any suggestion would be appreciated.

Do you already have a monitor for Mac Pro? The good thing about Mac Pro is upgradeability and it's not much slower than the iMac you're looking for but you can upgrade the Mac Pro to dual quad-cores making it an 8-core. Unless you need the upgradeability of Mac Pro, just get the iMac, it's newer and has warranty etc.
