Have owned iPods for years, bought a shuffle about a year ago and stood in line for the iPhone. BUT, I have never owned a Mac.
I have been a Mac user for about 14 years (Graphic Design field) but was never comfortable tossing out my Windows machine. Well, I finally made the leap and purchased the 2.4ghz 20" iMac last weekend. Man, do I regret waiting this long!!
I was amazed how easily all of my Quicken, Firefox and Mozilla files transferred over. It was flawless!! I was even able to export all my contacts and import them into Address Book. I also installed Vista via BootCamp. One word... AMAZING. Vista's perfomance is insane on the iMac. Funny thing is, I've realized BootCamp is nothing but a security blanket, I don't need Vista anymore!!
Anyway, I could go on and on, but I just wanted to say hello and that I am excited to be a part of the Apple family.
