It depends of the motherboard, if it supports more than 4GB (6 or 8) it'll be possible to have more ram.

Mac Pro is the only Mac which can use more than 4GB of RAM

...that's absolutely meaningless. Apple has been artificially limiting the amount of RAM since the days of the Macintosh SE/30 in 1989 (Max RAM: 32MB according to Apple, 128MB in reality).

yes is true 6gb, but I like the official things... I want that new imac on mac expo January holds 6gb officially or 8gb!! for buy it and fully of ram with 8gb
