Hi,

I will start by saying; i had a long look through this forum, and couldn't find any other problems just the same.

Ok, heres the problem:

With static dark images on the screen (e.g. backgrounds) while the pixels should be representing one fixed colour, they seem to not settle on a colour, but flick very slightly between different shades.

Its hard to explain, but it kind of looks like there is movement in the screen its self. You cant notice it when sitting back from the computer, but only when your a couple of inches from the screen.

the iMac is the current generation; 20" - 2.4ghz.

Aside from this problem, i have a noisier than should be hard drive, an airport card that doesn't like netgear routers... a dead mighty mouse (replaced), a keyboard with a faulty '3' key (replaced). so as i'm sure you'll appreciate i am annoyed!!

I have called apple about the other issues, and they said i could take it for repair, i am just very worried that who ever repairs it will allow dust behind the glass!!

thanks for your help
