New Imac spec differences?

My gf is going to buy a new Imac, I just purchased a new macbook pro. I noticed some new specs and options to choose from different than the laptop.

VRAM on the base model is 128? Is there a noticeable difference with the 256 vram? she is going to do alott of photo work.

she is curious to know if there is much of any difference between a 2.4ghz,a nd 2.66ghz? I played with both using logic and could see NO DIFFERENCE in speed.

WIll the FSB new 1066 upgrade and the more cache increase the speed by itself vs just the processor?

Some quick comments:
VRAM might become more important over time, as there is a move towards doing more processing on the GPU and Apple also does some GUI-effects directly on the graphic card. As there is no option for the base model to upgrade the graphics you are probably better off to by the 2.66 model. It also comes with 2Gb memory and this is really the amount of memory one should be using with OSX.

The processor speed difference is unnoticeable during normal day use. Only if you are doing something like video-encoding can you max out the processor. The better FSB should in theory also make it faster, in practice it is only a few percent...

So you probably are just as well with a previous generation model with a similar amount of memory and a good graphic card.
