Hi! I'm looking to upgrade my current set up at home because I'm used to big screen at work.

I've been using a 13" early 2015 MBP retina and I want to upgrade.
I am debating if I should upgrade to iMac or switch to PC. Currently I'm leaning toward iMac because I prefer iOS and screen, but it is expensive.

I mainly do digital painting and some matte painting on photoshop, sometime my psd document size goes up to 3GB, my current set up lag a bit if I use big textured brushes on big files.

I was wondering if I should get the basic 27" iMac or the mid tier 27" iMac.
I will probably upgrade to 256 SSD, do you think it is enough for what I do or should I upgrade to 512GB? If I upgrade to 512 GB I probably can't afford the mid tier iMac. ;-;

I'm also hoping to get an eGPU later on too!

I'm hoping this set up will last me at least three years or so.
Or should I suck it up for now and wait for 2018 iMac? I've heard rumour they might be remodelling iMac in 2018.

Thank you!!!
