I have a new 2017 21” iMac which I was able to install a Bootcamp Windows 10 on. The only issue is that I cannot get Windows to pair the new (full)wireless keyboard or Magic Mouse. Anyone else have this issue and figured out how to fix it?

I've found, for whatever reason - probably lousy driver support, Installing new Magic devices to be a lousy experience. I'm assuming you've installed the BootCamp Support drivers. Yeah, whereas older Apple Bluetooth Keyboards and mice are flawless in installation - apple hasn't done the best job with the Magic devices.

Try restarting, connect both via lightning to the Mac, and reinstall Apple's Boot Camp support files. That worked for me.

The support for Apple's bluetooth peripherals was broken in a recent Windows 10 update. Basically you need to keep the keyboard connected by wire, and get a different mouse. I recommend Logitech MX Master 2S, which is much better than the Magic Mouse anyway. Windows 10 force updates new patches, so if you reinstall the Bootcamp drivers, then Windows will probably only reinstall the same update again afterwards.

Still doesn't work properly. Apple keyboard has to be disconnected in OSX first every time, otherwise it won't work via Bluetooth in Bootcamp.

EDIT: You also have to disconnect and reconnect the Apple keyboard in Bootcamp afterwards. All this evertime you start Windows. Not worth the hassle. Better wait for proper bug fix from Apple and/or Microsoft.

Thanks, I’ll have to try this. Is there any way to get scrolling working with Windows 10 and Magic Mouse?

Don't know, never owned a Magic Mouse.

PS: Also, I see one has to reconnect the Apple keyboard every time you start Windows/Bootcamp. Hopefully we'll see a proper fix soon.

I had the same issue, magic mouse said it was paired but the cursor wouldn't move.

I opted in to the windows insider program via windows update and installed the 1803 preview update & this fixed the problem for me.

It didn’t for me. I had the keyboard working fine, just the mouse wouldn’t work. After your 1803 update neither works now. In the process of going back. At this point it looks like what works for one don’t always work for all. Hopefully the powers to be at Apple will fix this.

At least my old Apple bluetooth keyboard works fine. Fortunately I didn't give it away, when I sold my old late 2012 iMac.

Fixed it for me as well. No problems for a few days now.

Went back and deleted the 1803 and I at least have my keyboard back. I can live with the usb wireless mouse if I have too.
