Hey guys! I'm hoping someone can help me with the recent issue I've been having. I've had a 15" C2D MacBook Pro for quite some time now. I've never had a wireless issue with it.
Today, I brought home a 20" 2.0GHz iMac. As soon as I tried connecting to my normal network I got an error message.
I have it set up to show the Airport status in the menu bar. All of the signal bars are blank. When I click on the signal bars, my network appears. When I click on the network that my MacBook Pro has and is connected to, I get an error message that says "There was an error joining Airport network..."
I've tried restarting the iMac and turning Airport on and off, but to no avail.
Does anyone have any idea what the problem is? I'd really appreciate any help. Thanks.

I had a similar issue. I can't tell you exactly what I did, but I called Apple Care and they had it resolved in 15 minutes.
