New iMac????

I walked into the Apple Store ready to buy the new imac, but after seeing it in person I backed away from it and bought a MBP.

Wondering how many like or dislike the new design, not the specs....just the design....

I'd like it if it wasn't glossy...which is probably hard to accomplish considering there is a glass panel over it.

I feel they could've done better...the design was to predictable.

The black rim around the screen and the glossiness turned me away. :/ I might change my mind if I see it in person, but I dunno.

Where is the option for loving the design except for the fact that it was ruined with a glossy screen.

Just as far as design, I think it is neat they implemented the glass. I know a lot of people hate glossy, but I think it will look nice and protect the computer.

I wonder if it i as glossy as other screens I have seen...

For me it seems like a reasonable update. I currently have a 20 inch Core duo 2ghz, not the core 2 duo. Now i can upgrade to a 20inch 2.4 or a 24inch 2.4 and get more HD space and 64 bit processor (which hopefully will run leopard a little faster) for about the same i spent on this machine. So in a couple months i will sell my current iMac and get a new one

Only a matter of time before they bring out a Product Red version and the black is replaced by red!
