Apple essentially returned to its traditional design language after releasing the new Studio Display. Namely: black bezels, no visual distractions on the front of the display etc. It just looks gorgeous.
Moreover, this display contains audio speakers, microphones, 12 mp web camera and the same IO as the current iMac. This means that it's possible to fit all of this tech into an iMac without a chin (if it has to be there for some technical reason it should have an Apple logo to make it less of a distraction).
Some say that the chin is what makes an iMac recognisable. But I would say it's the stand:
Releasing an iMac with the same design as Apple Displays will allow to use them side-by-side.
iMac and Cinema Display could be a good example:
Do you think Apple should release new iMacs using the same design language as Studio Display or stick to the current one?
