what are the odds of a updated iMac to be shown at WWDC? i am debating whether to buy one now or what unitl WWDC, hoping for an update iMac.
After only 3 months? Don't think so.
Different circumstances. All they did in 2003 was introduce a 20" model. Everything else stayed the same. 2006 was the Intel transition since which its been every 8-11 months.not likely, but you never know. Apple has refreshed the line after only 2 months before (in 2003). and in 2006 they did a refresh after only 3 months.
My bet is nothing new for the imacs, but it's only 2 weeks away so it's not much to wait at this point.
I'm with you on this question. I'm like seconds away from buying a new iMac, but I'm not sure if I should wait till WWDC.
What I would honestly expect is there would be no iMac upgrade at WWDC.
However, I worry that Snow Leopard will be included in all Macs purchased after WWDC or something else I can't predict.
the chances are really really low.

it won't happen.
This is for developers.
The only computer hardware relevant is probably the Mac Pro - and even that won't get talked about.
This is going to be an iPhone event, maybe a bit of SL if we're lucky.
what i meant by "updated" was spec updates, sorry i should have been more specificso the odds of announced updated specs and/or lower price tag are for most part really low. damn, i'll still wait for wwdc and see if apple pulls a surprise out of their magical hat. if nothing happens there, i'm gonna pull the trigger and buy a 20" iMac with the new nvidia gpu. i've heard of bad screen problems. anyone who owns the new iMac care to elaborate on their experience with their new kickass machine so far?![]()
As aristobrat pointed out: https://buyersguide.macrumors.com//#iMac
You can make just as informed decisions from this as anyone outside of apple can.
