New imacs coming in 2009?

hi im a pc user but i want to buy a mac to see how it is... i dont have the money for it now but ill have it in about 3 months. Should i buy a imac now or wait for the next generation to come out... i will appreciate any help!

If you don't have the money now why are you going to try to buy the iMac now? I'm expecting one more iMac update this year anyways.

Your assumption is correct, and it's expected the Nehalem iMac's will be out by Q4 2009, a major processor line overhaul.

There is always something better coming around the corner. I believe that under most circumstances you should buy when you are ready.

You have answered the question of when you are ready in your post.

So buy in three months. There should be an update by then. If not, still buy unless there are good indications that a update is coming in a few weeks.

Never wait months if you are ready now.
