Could be any of the following:

1. There are new ones coming out.
2. There are new ones, but all that is different is a bit of a spec bump.
3. Apple is having trouble making then and or getting them shipped.

Nothing is coming till next week if there are redesigns in the works because Apple unveils those at events. Not to mention the new mouse needs to be displayed if it is indeed a multitouch mouse.

My guess would be next Wednesday since Monday is Columbus Day, so it won't be Tuesday. Invites should be out later this week.

I just noticed one of the iMacs ship date has slipped from 24 hours to 1-3 days.

Confusion to me is - this seems like a pretty major release if its real - new body iMacs, Macbooks, Mouse and Keyboard all on the cards - doesn't that usually warrant an event?

I know i am not on the guest list but i assumed they would send out invites more than a day before? :p

Are there any planned events? (heres to hoping ;))

No, but based on all the rumors, the shortages, and the fact that Windows 7 arrives on October 22nd, an event is likely either next Wednesday (October 14th), or the Tuesday after (October 20th).

i just wonder.....why apple change the shipping days one by one? low end mini-high end mini-educational imac-normal imac....so what's next?

I'll throw my hat in the ring....Prices will range from $999. to $1999. and be released before Windows 7. A lot of thought went into this:D

Mac mini's shipping dates

Mac Mall has both High End & Low End Mac mini's shipping 7-10 days.........

I was hoping that there would be some news on the newest iMacs today. I have been searching through the internet all week if I should pull the trigger on the current iMac or wait.

Let me ask you all this. If there isn't a refresh on the iMac, should I buy the current model or wait for the new model?

Just like the person who posted a while back...the suspense is killing me.:apple:

If "revamped" means pre-installing Snow Leopard, then you might be correct ... otherwise not a chance. :)

SL is already preinstalled. Intel has released the mobile Core i7s. I want them, but doubt we'll see them. I do expect at least a new design for iMac, new processors and more RAM options for Mac mini, and maybe some cosmetic updates for the MacBook (not that there's much that can be done). Oh, and don't forget price drops.

20 Oct is my guess.

I do not like thinner. Thinner is not necessarily better. I want faster, better and affordable.
