Using a MacPro 3,1 (Early 2008) model.

I want to add a new 2 TB harddrive and, when it comes out, install ML on it.

How can this be done if ML will only be distributed though the app store (from what I understand), and the new drive will not have a recovery partition on it.

Thanks!

Presumably you have Lion now and still using the old hard drive?

If so, when ML comes out on the store, download it with App store. Then create a USB key with ML installer on it. Put in the the 2TB drive, boot from USB, install ML. Once ML is installed, I assume Apple will have steps to create ML recovery partition similar to those for Lion.
