I have an iMac 20-inch 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
2GB memory
250GB hard drive
ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT with 128MB memory
Bootcamp/ Windows Vista

Anyone know if most PC games for Vista will play well on this Mac? I'm looking at Half Life and Halo to start with. Still confused when I research the minimum graphic card requirements listed for various games.

You should be able to run these two games just fine. RAM might be an issue with VISTA but I suggest you try and see if you need more. You are going to struggle running most recent games but older games like these are going to be fine.

You should easily be able to run those games. I can even run COD4 at 1680X1050 and have it very playable. And the two games you mentioned are a lot less stressful. I have the same exact model as you do with only 1.5GB RAM. And, Half-Life 2 and CS:Source run really awesome on it.

Pssh, it'll run Halo and Half Life 2 extremely well. I've got a weaker system that plays them above games in my monitors native resolution with everything on full (cept AA in TF2 and Portal).

hey i have the same mac setup as you and was wondering how well yours works for most of the windows games.
as for the original thread question, my old imac was the 2.4ghz version which is a little like yours and it had 1gig of ram and it ran mac games pretty decent, but ya, with vista it might be a little ram hog but i think it will do fine
