New International iPad orders now ship in "June"

I dunno how long this has change but looks like the "by June 7th" shipment date has now change to the more generic "June".

I wonder what shipping dates people are now getting if they order. It appears Apple are prob still struggling with demand.

Yes. The iPad is a supermassive hit. Even bigger than the original iPhone in 2007. Now they need to cater nine more countries and I guess that's tough. You can only have so many workers at the factories carefully assembling these babies.

which we know that already. But this post is saying that the pre-orders have now been pushed back yet again.

On that day, Apple updated its sites to say "Ships: By June 7th." Now, it seems like even the iPads allotted for shipping by that day have sold out, so they're just showing "Ships: June" (no specific day) now.

Probably change again considering the demand... weird condsidering Its not like the iphone where it was subsidised by the phone company / tariff...

I have had Macs for a little over 5 years now and that was before the iPhone release. It seems like the iPad is going to smash ALL Apple records for a new product.

Is that a stretch looking back through Apple history?

I don't know of ANY hardware mfg of computer related stuff that has been in such a demand! It's amazing!
