Agreed. Updated my new iPhone 13 pro earlier and it's 15.0.

That is the day zero software update for iOS 15. I suggest people install that first before they setup their phones.

No, you were supposed to update to this build before setting up and transferring your phone. Set up as new, activate if necessary, update via software, and then reset/restore your phone.

I already restored from my iCloud backup on Saturday but the update came out today. So I need to backup and restore my iPhone again?

No. The update installs over the top, like every other update.

Mine didn’t show up until today on my 13 Pro Max. It’s showing as an upgrade to iOS 15 but it says I’m on 15.0 in the settings so… seems weird, I’ve never had this happen before.

Yep. I got the notification and did my 13PM. Reached for all the other Apple devices and nothing to install on them. So I figured it was due to a pre-release version on the 13PM.

moment i got my phone on friday, i went straight to check for any new software update and installed it on Friday
