So, before iTunes 10.5 and iOS5, the iPhone backup location was...

name-->library-->application support-->mobilesync-->backups.

And since upgrading to 10.5 and iOS5... I don't seem to have that folder on my mac.

I'm not syncing with iCloud.
iTunes still tells me i can restore "from backup" and there are 4 iPhone backups to choose from... So where would they be?

Can anyone else confirm that their iPhone Backups are not in that folder anymore? :confused:

It is still there. Just went to mine just now

the user library is by default hidden in Lion. Try these steps to navigate to it

1. Press and hold Option key

2. Click Go on the menu bar(Finder app must be activated)

3. Choose Library

I'd just be happy with the backup being stored ANYWHERE... when I upgraded to iOS5, it backed up beforehand, but when restoring, the only backup available was from three weeks earlier. (sorry, just had to rant. :) )

Hi

I have the same problem, except that the phone was my wife's and the last backup was a year ago.

Needless to say if anyone can assist finding the backup that was made while iTunes upgraded the phone to iOS5, I would be most grateful!

Thanks
