New iPad 11" - Split Screen

I used a 12.9" iPad Pro a while back and noticed that split screen was MUCH better compared to my 9.7" iPad Pro. I wonder if the new 11" model will have a better split screen experience or I should just go with the 12.9" version?

Currently, every iPad other than the 12.9 Pro uses the "compact view" when in split window. The safe assumption at this point is that the 11" Pro will use compact view too unless/until Apple announces something or people with hands-on experience report otherwise.

Darn. Well, hopefully the hands-on will show us something new. If not, looks like 12.9" version then.
