iPad Pro New Ipad 12.9 not recognized by pc

Just got my new ipad, my old 2018 ipad 11inch pro recognized by my pc fine using usb c thunderbolt port on a GA-Z170X-Gaming 7 mobo in itunes from windows 10 store…New ipad says to plug into pc but nothing…

Any ideas what to do?

I got it, I uninstalled itunes from the mircosoft store and reinstalled and it immediatly recognized….Weird cause it recognize my 2018 fine but wouldnt even show any indication that windows seen the new ipad, no charge nothing…

I mean itunes and windows was not seeing it, update itunes and now windows sees it, wth?

iTunes probably contained a newer driver for the iPad.

Don’t install iTunes from Microsoft store. Install it using exe file. I can get my M1 iPad recognised by iTunes 12.6.5 which has long been discontinued, so Microsoft store version is the culprit.
