new iPad, Apps wont update

Hello,

Just got myself a new iPad today, got it updated to iOS 12 and whatnot, but I've run into a small bug/issue where some of the built in apps won't update (Garageband, Keynote, Pages, and Numbers). I tap update all in the app store and I get the little loading circles for half a second before it reverts back to an "update" button. I can download new apps just fine, but for whatever reason these 4 wont update. I've tried re-launching the app store and rebooting the iPad but neither has remedied the issue.

Any advice is appreciated, thanks!

Mine did the same about 3 hours later it said there where updates

I had to do a “Turn off” and “back on” when I first set mine up and everything worked fine after.

My new IPP updated fine. However, my new iPhone XS still refused to update the App Store app. This link solved it...
