I purchased a new iPad Mini 7 from Best Buy during Cyber Monday. I tried trading in my iPad Pro 10.2 ; 2017, but they only wanted to give me 50 bucks for it. I drove to the Apple Store which was a half mile from Best Buy. Apple gave me 80 bucks for it, even though it had that burn in near the touch button. I used part of the money for a case on the I-Pad mini 7 and the change back on the card. I like the display; even though it's not as nice as my I-Pad Pro 13 M4. I still have my iPad Mini 2 which I use as a book reader, a night clock with weather readouts and day with date.

Smooth how much did you get it for and which model ? I'm looking to pick one up myself, but not finding any great sales. I'm looking for a Mini 7 256 !
I got the mini 7; 128 since I won't be storing much on it. I got it for 30.00 off the retail price.

I bought one on Cyber Monday too. My last two iPads were the OG and 7th Gen, and I've been curious about the Mini for a long time so I bought myself an early Christmas gift ;) It's due to arrive on Tuesday, and I'm excited to try it out. Enjoy yours!

Enjoy that 7. I'm riding the 6 until about 9 or 10 and upgrading then. I use my Mini 6 every day and consider it best of all iPads (and iPhone too, because with VOIP app and buds, the 6 doubles as my phone). It's nice carrying (and paying for) just one device instead of two... without having to deal with the compromises in choosing one much smaller screen. It's also very nice not feeling the "long in tooth effect" after just a few years and/or paying much more than I pay for 5G service.

Education discount was better even on Black Friday and cyber Monday, at least from what I saw. 30 dollars off never seemed like a good deal.

I picked up a Mini 7 to replace my 6 which I will give to my dad to use for email and news. As expected the 7 is just a little snappier and smoother but otherwise the same. Definitely would not have felt that this upgrade for myself was worth it if I weren't giving my 6 to a family member who needed it. Nonetheless I am satisfied and will look forward to the next iteration of the Mini.
