Hi! A new iPad Pro 2nd generation does not record voice in the voice memo app. Camera captures sound perfectly. Why is that? thanks.

Voice memo records voice perfectly on my iPad Pro 11 2nd generation. Are you using the inbuilt mic, or one that is attached to the USB-c port?

Try to use the microphone in some other app to make sure it works. If the camera already works maybe try a restart next.

I don't use an external microphone. I tried restarting. Interestingly, when I tap any of the built-in microphones, I see it on the curve, but it records the speech sound amazingly quietly.

Resolved. The glass foil covered the small front microphone. I took it off and it's good. Thanks for everyone.
