I found this old thread:
quote: " When playing audio through the internal speakers that hit certain frequencies in the lower end, some kind of resonance happens, and the sound is muddy or rattling. Some male voices hit that frequency, and it sounds like the entire iPad is self resonating, making it a little hard to understand what that person says. "

Does anyone have this same issue on the new iPad Pro 2020?
I got my first unit replaced but it didn't fix the issue. Siri's voice is like coming from underground (On my iPhone 11 Siri's voice sounds great.) Some podcasts are also pain to listen -sound is too muddy and I have to turn my volume up to hear what a speaker is saying.

The animals - the house of the rising sun - sounds muddy without clarity (volume + 50%). Video sounds fine on my other devices.

I wonder if I should return the iPad Pro to the store to get my money back and wait for the 2021 model. Maybe Apple will fix this issue.

The sound on that video is not very good, regardless of device. It is going to sound muddy with not much clarity.

I haven’t noticed a problem with my new iPad Pro 11 (2020) bought June 26.

I watched and listened to the Animals clip on my 2018 12.9 Pro with Sony wireless earbuds and laptop with high-end Bose headphones and the sound quality was very good.

Great clip, too. I'm just short of 70 and those were my music days - great stuff though it's hard to recognize Eric Burdon there.
