I was wondering if there’s a way to change the bar that appears on the bottom that you must flick up to go home to either the left or right side instead of the bottom?

Hope this makes sense

No it can’t be changed

It's always at the bottom, no matter if the iPad is in portrait or landscape.

Swiping from left or right sides is already a gesture to switch to different home screen pages.

Just out of curiosity, why do you ask?

I guess I’m just used to dealing with the sides after years of tapping the home button. I’ll just need to get used to the bottom...

You could always use the accessibility options to put a home button on your screen, but I’d advise against it. The bottom swipe does work well once you get used to it.
