Getting the new iPad Pro has been very exciting. It arrived about 24 hours ago & its been hard to put down. That being said, one of the most exciting things, for me anyway, is purchasing accessories for it. This is the first Pro model that I’ve had, so I’m new to most of the accessories.

So far i’ve only Gotten myself the new 10.5 inch Smart Keyboard. Still debating the pencil. I don’t mind spending the money to surround such a powerful device that most of us will have for a few years at least. I do wish that there was some way to protect the back of my iPad, though, with this Smart Keyboard case. Any suggestions? I really wish that silicone case apple makes for the 9.7 model was available for the 10.5 as well, i feel like that would work nicely with the keyboard covering the front. I’ve also considered the new sleeve with the pencil holder, although $130 is a lot to commit for simply a sleeve.

What have you guys got? Just curious to know as well as hear any suggestions. Let me know!

I have nothing yet becuse some of the 3'rd party cases aren't fitting properly. But, either I'm buying AppleCare+ or getting a cover that protects the back and corners since the ASK only protects the front of the iPad.

I was thinking of just getting transparent skin for the back (love the rose gold and want to see it). But, I had expected the ASK to provide protection of the corners. Since it doesn't, I don't think a skin would be adequate.

I had the leather Apple smartcover on my Air 2 & would happily buy it for the Pro if it was available.

You mentioned the pencil. I wish Apple offered student pricing on it. It may not be something you use everyday but it could be a nice addition.

What is apples student pricing 10%?
If you can afford $90 US for a pencil you can afford $100.

Don't get me wrong it is expensive but I have been very impressed with mine.
