Is there optimized battery charging for iPad? Maybe it's trying to save the battery. The closer you charge the battery to full or discharge to empty causes the most wear.
I normally charge my iPad powered off but the new 2021 iPad Pro will power on by itself once it reaches 100% anybody else having this experience?

Forgive me. I provided bad Intel. Sadi feature is only for the iPhone. I was thinking it was also for the iPad.
There is no optimized charging toggle for the iPad like there is for the iPhone.
