Same problem here, even tonight I did update to 14.4 and still facing the same problem. I did send an email viber’s customer support but nothing. That’s the email I received “

- How often does this issue occur?
- Does it occur with one or more users? If it only occurred with one user, please test with several other users.
- Can you send/receive videos, audio messages, stickers, GIF?
- Please try using 3G/4G and WiFi separately to see if the issue occurs on both internet sources. Does it occur on both? If not, on which does it occur?
- When did the issue first begin? After upgrading Viber? After upgrading the operating system?
- Have you made any changes to your phone’s operating system settings?
- Are you running any other VoIP applications on your device (such as Line, Skype, etc.)? If so, please check if the issue you are experiencing occurs on these other apps as well.
Also please send us a screenshot of how these messages are displaying on your side.

Also I dont have images on my contacts. Usually I do. Anyone same problem?
