new iPhone 3GS-are cradle and cables same as old

I have a very nice cradle and other items at home that I've used to charge up my old iPhone that was 2 1/2 yrs old. I have a new iPhone. Are all the connections the same size. I'd hate to ruin the new phone by forcing it into something that isn't made for it.

The USB to 30 pin connector is the same and will work. The cradle on the other hand is a different size. I'm pretty sure your 3GS will still sit in the cradle, but the older 1st gen iPhone was bigger than the 3G & 3GS.
