iPhone New iPhone 5's

I'm a little confused. I assume when the iPhone 5 is finally jailbroken they are going to be releasing iPhone 5's with iOS 6.1.

Do I need to upgrade now so I can be on 6.01?

The jailbreak won't be released until iOS 6.1 is released. Anyway, it usually takes a week or two for the iPhone 5s in store to have the latest iOS .

fallow the dev-team and Chronic to find out about jailbreaks or you can always check here and see toms of threads asking where the jailbreak is. When the jailbreak is out we will have lots of threads saying that the jailbreak is out.

There will be but given the pending release of 6.1 and the fact that he still needs a 'few' more exploits to be able to make it public, a jailbreak is probably 1 1/2-2 months away.
