New renders of iPhone 8, source looks to be credible and has an accurate record when it came to the 7. Based on leaked schematics. This looks to be a step in the right direction and something I could see from Apple.

Thoughts on it..

I like it cause I'm not seeing Touch ID on he back so that's a good thing. It does look clean but I can already see a ton of people saying it looks too much like the 6-7 series phones.

That's a good point. I thought the same thing. Still, once you see that screen and get a feel of the material, I'm sure it would be a different experience. Especially with any additional features that are rumored.

Exactly! We don't know what other hardware features are going to be apart of the phone and what iOS 11 is going to bring. There is still a lot of unknowns.

In all likelihood, this is what I would like to see. I have no preference if the dual camera is vertical or horizontal or if it's protruding. Those are none of my concerns. Touch ID would be ideal if it was embedded into the display, which is the real question for the Fall release. Hopefully part leaks will be surfacing within the next month.

They're all starting to look vey similar so I think the design is locked in. Am I the only one who doesn't care about the raised camera?

I agree. At some point, all phones will just be a screen. Everything will come down to software, ecosystem, and support.

Imagine that design with a flushed camera?

#Clean

Would be perfect, I'd be okay with slightly thicker and a bigger battery to accommodate for the bump.

I have zero issues with the current stance of the camera. As Long as I can take quality photographs with the iPhone, that's what matters to me. Everything else hopefully will fall into place.

I really hope apple never make a fugly protruding vertical camera like this one, it looks so unpleasant, apple rather make it flush with the back, regarding the touch id it should be in front of the device, on the back is a totally dumb idea!,apple will not make that copy paste ,i am seeing you everywhere telling other forum members that touch id will be placed on back of the iPhone, which to me doesn't seems true.I am afraid individual who want touch id on the back will be left disappointed when apple release iPhone with touch id embedded in the display this year

@Sunny1990. You are indefinitely stating with certainty that touch ID will be embedded into the display and NOT on the back of the iPhone.

Based off your quote, Then please provide a verified source that you know confirming that it's true that Apple will be embedding touch ID into the display and not on the back of the iPhone for the other readers in this thread.

I'm not sure how you think you would know this based on what facts? And yes, it's my opinion (Without fact) that touch ID very well could be placed on the back of the iPhone IF Apple does not embed touch ID into the display.

Indefinitely?

For the sake for a verified source indicating how one knows touch ID will be embedded into the display.... I am indefinitely awaiting how one can prove this :D

Because no other smartphones have camera bumps. /s

No. But there are other manufacturers who have made the camera flush and could make the argument why does Apple need to retain a Camera bump? So it's a two-sided discussion provoking the argument about "Thinness."
