hi there, i bought an iphone yesterday and i'd like to downgrade to 1.0.2 but the problem is im stuck on "waiting for iphone" and its not doing anything...

my purpose is downgrade this to 1.0.2 to be able to downgrade the baseband and update to 1.1.1

any ideas?

Just to let you know downgrading to 1.0.2 will not downgrade your baseband so if you have just brought an iphone cos you want it unlocking to all networks then your screwed because you cannot unlock an out the box 1.1.2 even if you downgrade. You can only make it so any o2 sim works.

i forgot to mention i can use winstallergui and putty to downgrade the baseband and update it to 1.1.1

i have no intention to unlock the phone. just to use my existing AT&T sim

By the way you do not need to downgrade your baseband to do this lol. It is only unlocking to all networks that has issues with the baseband. So just downgrade to 1.1.1 install the jailbreak and then install oktoprep. upgrade to 1.1.2 and install the jailbreak. that simple. Here is a link on how to do it:
