No chance at all. Apple have been very consistent with one major iPhone release a year. What you have now is what there will be till June/July next year.

just like I knew about the new iphone about a week before any info was posted anywhere on the net..
Not true - the 16 gb 1st generation iPhone came about six months after launch and six months before the 3g. There has been a mid cycle capacity jump precedent. I would consider updrading my 16 gb 3g to a 64 gb if it came out for the holidays!
