These benchmarks are crazy.

The A9 is still perfectly fast and flies on iOS 11 and gets about 2500 single core , 4400 multi. More than enough for the use of a phone.

I'm sure X owners will be fine with their phones performance

Now that I think about it, it could be because of FaceID constantly running in the background that diverts some of the processing power. Even still, that shows how little processing consumption is taken up by the FaceID. iPhone X is still king.

No it’s because smaller screen. Fewer pixels to push around, lower resolution with same processor.
