I recently bought a new iPhone 13 Pro. Ever since I switched over to it, I am no longer getting texts to show up in the Messages app on my Mac. The latest messages are from 3/18, which is the day I set up the new phone. How do I get the Messages app to start working again? I haven't changed my phone number. All I did was put the SIM card in the new phone, which is what I've always done every time I've switched iPhones and it's never been a problem. Why is not working this time?

Thanks. It looks like it was disabled. That might've been the problem.

However, I'd still like to be able to load all the messages I've received since 3/18 onto my Mac's messages app and I can't seem to figure out how to do so. Messages is enabled in iCloud, but when I press "Sync Now" nothing happens.

Trying going into Settings->Apple ID/iCloud profile->iCloud->iCloud Backup->Back Up Now

I've found running a manual iCloud backup sometimes gets things to sync up
