I'm about to buy an iPhone, and I've been looking for some answers, but I didn't really find them, and I was hoping someone could help me.
I wanted to know if it will come with 1.1.2 or 1.1.3, is there a way to find out. The thing is that, yep, I would like to unlock it, or at least jailbreak it to use it as an iPod while a good, no hardware required, unlock software comes out to the market. I've been reading that you can jailbreak 1.1.3 but only if you have a jailbroken 1.1.1 or 1.1.2, therefore my question, if I buy an iPhone now, will I be able to jailbreak it?
Also I live in europe, but soon I will go to the USA for a few days, is it better to buy in the USA (it's cheaper) or is it better to buy it in the UK or France?
This is my first post, and hopefully not my last one, I mean, I hope I will be able to help other members after I've been discovering nice things on my iPhone.
