Has anyone noticed the new calculator icon, and also the time looks dynamic now, as it's not showing 10:15? And, as the new iPod(s) have search capabilities, hopefully we'll see a system-wide search on iPhone too (contacts, songs, calendar entries, emails); as well as the home double-tap for the onscreen iPod controls when your iPhone's asleep. Looks like we're in for a good update

The only question now is, how long will we have to wait? I'm hoping the update gets released next week with the launching of the Ringtone service, but that's probably being optimistic...

I think it's more likely to come with the WiFi iTMS update for the iPhone, as this will require a biggish update, whereas the ringtone capability may just be an iTunes thing that will sync to the iPhone without actually adding any new software to it.

Also, the iPod touch could represent the form factor of the next gen iPhone - ie. a good bit thinner, shorter, but a bit wider (better for typing in portrait mode).

some people even think that the clock icon on the iphone changes it's time to the real so that if it's ten o' clock the icon is also showing ten o' clock, same with weather icon, people believe that it also changes to the weather... (heard it in a thread)

That's what I mean by "dynamic" - as iPhone in the picture in the link is showing 9:42 (as curiously all Apple iPhone pics do), the clock icon is also showing 9:42 with its hands. Think the weather icon is the same though (non-changing).

They indicated that this is a Ad-HOC program, not covered under specific programs, but are doing it for valued card members.

I would recommned that you call and ask for yourself, they will tell you the same thing.

I thought they said it would be about the same time as the touch release, in a few weeks.
