I just got back from the apple store, tried syncing my new 16gb iphone, and already having problems. It syncs all my apps fine, but it won't sync any of my music, or videos. Talk about a major let down, so pissed right now. Anyone have any idea on whats going on or a fix?

Is it giving you any errors?

Also, check the basics... Is it set to sync music? Is the music purchased music that needs to be authorized to play on your computer?

No errors. Checked everything, and everything is set fine. It only syncs my contacts, calender, apps, etc... things like that. My music and videos are the only things I've noticed that don't sync.

And you're absolutely sure you checked the the menus that come up when the iPhone is plugged in (i.e., "Ringtones, Music, Video")...under Music, make sure you've told it the correct music you want it to sync and under video make sure you've told it the correct movies/videos/tv shows you want it to sync. You may also want to make sure the iPhone isn't accidentally set to manually manage music (which would be on the main page).

Yea, everything was checked to work fine... but it didn't. I even checked to make sure I had the latest itunes software. I ended up uninstalling and re-installing itunes after reading another person's thread who had a similar issue. It's working fine now. :)
