re the new iPod - can I operate it when riding/jogging as I can with current model?

We need to know which new ipod you are referring to, and which old ipod you currently have.

oh yeah - so I mean:

new iPod - Meant new iPod nano

old iPod - Meant last version of iPod nano (i.e. main point is they had the wheel whereas now the latest iPad nano seems to be screen based)

If you're a "feeler" rather than a "looker" then no, if you look at the screen with your current model then yes the new model shouldn't be any less difficult. If you use the buds with the remote, I'm pretty sure the new nano supports it as well.

If you are a feeler you'd just have to buy a set of headsets with a remote and you can still have tactile buttons.

Personally, I like those over the clickwheel anyways (i'm a "feeler" as above person labels it).

I suspect there will be a no-look way to operate the new nano when playing music (tap to pause, double tap to advance, etc) but we won't know for sure until either the user manual comes out or the device is in stores.
