iPod New iPod Classic?

Hey There,
I am looking at buying a new 120 GB iPod Classic, but wanted to check in and see if any of you know if they are coming out with a new one any time soon, or if it makes sense to go ahead and get this one, as opposed to waiting. Any input is greatly appreciated!

The new ones only came out about eight weeks ago. If you look at the Buyer's Guide, you'll see that Apple have tended to only update them in or near September for the past three years. Without any recent rumors, there's no reason to assume that's going to change soon.

I doubt very much if there will be any sort of upgrade in the iPod classic in the immediate, or near, future, given that an update of sorts was issued in September. My advice would be to buy the 120 GB iPod; it has a terrific capacity, and a superb battery life.
