Ok...so I just got rid of my 30gig video iPod from 2 years ago and got the 160 Classic...very nice. However, 1 big annoyance:

When I go to Playlists, it shows me how many songs are in each Playlist! Grrrr! I don't care! I just want a list (like the old days) of the Playlists without any metadata or extra info...because I have about 20 playlists and now I have to scroll all over the place to find them because now it only shows 5 Playlists per screen whereas the older iPods would show 10 I think.

Really annoying. I have looked through the Settings on the iPod itself and do not see a way to adjust this.

Any help?

I am on Windows with iTunes 7.6.1.9. The ipod is 1.0.2PC

Thanks.

p.s. this scenario is also occurring per each song title inside the Playlists...as well as the areas Songs, Genres, Composers, Albums.

I think thats the way the new interface is. My 3g nano also show 5 at a time. 9 on the 5g.
