Hello-

I am getting a new ipod w/ video playback and I have some avi files that I am wanting to transfer into my itunes and they won't transfer. Now I have transfered mpeg movie files w/ no problem but I can't get the avi files over to it. Is there a program out there that I can convert avi files over to mpeg files? Any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks

yeah that's not exactly what i'm looking for. i'm not wanting it for my psp

Both the PSP and the new iPod play MPEG4 or H.264 (which is also MPEG4 just to be confusing) so this app is what you want. There is a tutorial here.

Or if you have (or want to buy) QuickTime Pro Apple have put a tutorial up here.

I hope that helps!
