Hi,

Sadly no new iPod Nano had been announced today.
Current one is now 2years old, do you think we will see a new nano soon?

I had a nano and liked it but the screen glue got loose and so I returned it.
Would buy a new one but I need more space to store my music.

A 32GB one would be perfect

I think they should chop off shuffle and touch, keep the nano. Add more colors! A proper green one, like the old mini. Would buy one without thinking about it

If iPod nanos were ever going to be updated, it would've happened today. None of the iPods were updated today, not even iPod touch. I suspect Apple will simply phase out iPods one by one over the next few years without any update.

Thanks for your Input!

Apple store is currently down!
Maybe we will see a silent iPod update :)

I think it's ridiculous for Apple to phase out the iPod. Maybe the touch since the iPhone is very similar but the smaller sizes definitely have their benefits. The Nano is perfect for bringing it to the gym or taking it on a run rather than bringing my iPhone 6+ along. I was hoping we'd see an update on the Shuffle and Nano but it doesn't look like it's going to happen anytime soon.

I agree with everything you say. Too bad we're the minority.

Maybe we will see a new nano along with the iWatch presentation in early 2015.

Do you think a 32gb+ version is possible?
AFAIK all nanos were 16gb max until now.

It would be a shame for apple to stop selling ipods. I now use an old iphone 4 for running using bluetooth headphones, but if Apple would bring in a smaller screened bluetooth nano I Would buy it in a shot. I'm pretty tempted with the current model but would prefer something with a clip like the older model.

I think you just said it all an iPhone has what you need and even if you are a music buff and just want an extra device to carry to take drain off of what you use to communicate with most people LIKE ME will find that they most likely have an old iPhone laying around that works perfect.I was major into iPods last year I had em all pretty much then sold them here and there and the only one I kept was a 6th gen nano that I got off of the 1st gen replacement program I rarely use it but like having it.What causes people to not buy iPods is they feel like y spend the money when they have what they need already and thats what is causing the death of the iPod.IF they do kill the iPod they better make a straight iPod app i remember the music section on old iPhones did say iPod but i think they removed that name because it just verifys what u already know u have an iPod in your iPhone.Sad but true iPod live on ....please
