alright. i litterally just bought my ipod a few hours ago. i got it home plugged it to itunes, and got it working. knowing there is a 4.0 update, i tried to install it. in the process of installing it on my ipod, right at the end it stops and tells me that an error has occured (9). im so very confused now, because i has a 1st gen that the same thing happened to, but i figured it was becasue i had jailbroke it and it was something to do with that. now i get it when i try my new ipod! WTF. im going to try doing this on a different computer tommorow, and if this doesnt work, i am going to contact apple tech support tommorow. is anyone else having this problem? (ipod stuck in restore mode where it just shows to plug it into itunes?)

Could Be a bad cord (try using a different one), iTunes could be messed up (uninstall/reinstall), or the .ispw file that is used to restore could be corrupt (delete it [just google the location of it on the computer] and redownload).
