Still contemplating the purchase of the new pro's. Ive noticed that on ebay they have new iPad Pros for $50 cheaper, not to mention saving on tax. Is there a catch/negative from buying from here?

If they're cellular models that usually means someone bought them on a carrier payment plan. So when they likely never pay the installments the carrier will lock the iPad from cellular service making that feature useless in the United States. But other then that, it's a good deal.

Great thought! But this one vendor has multiple quantities of various different models, both wifi and the LTE versions. Im wondering if maybe they could have been stolen downstream before they ever reached an Apple Store? I cant understand how else they would be selling these lower than Apple and still making some profit.

For $50 more you get peace of mind. Sounds a bit fishy to me!

It's worth the extra $50 to me to buy it from Apple who will take it back for any reason in the 1st 2 weeks (not that I usually find that necessary). I have returned a few devices with screens that weren't up to my standards and I'm pretty sure an online seller wouldn't go for that.

I don’t understand from where you get it that is only 50 bucks difference. Actually it’s a 100 dollars difference if you put the 50 usd tax from apple. I bought from abt with 50 off student discount and return the first one I bought from apple and I get 100 usd to my pocket for the same product.

What about a warranty?
